Stuck somewhere in between, neither modern nor old; Retro was a transitional phase where colours, new art forms were embraced. Retro vibes have been making their rounds this season, in various forms be it the round frame sunglasses, the flouncy silhouettes or the polkas. Playing dress-up imitating divas was one of my favorite pass times back in my school days. Reds are surely my go-to colour when dressing up like a retro babe. This one has clean lines and is simple in terms of details, as in absolutely no details at all.

Styling Note: Reds are more a popular choice when it comes to retro inspired dresses. This casual Red skater dress is rather simple, with a clean silhouette and a scoop neck. The dress oozes a mixture of the 60s and the 70s vibe when outfits were minimalist in nature. Bringing in the balance is the Tan accent, with heeled brogues and the messenger bag too. The bug eyed or almost round dull gold framed sunglasses and a dull gold double wrap watch give it a more retro feel.
